      摘要:Since 2020, the global economic environment has entered the transition period of new momentum and deep adjustment. A new round of scientific and technological industry revolution for China’s economic restructuring has a significant role in promoting and upgrading. The current situation urgently requires us to "open up new way in the crisis and change new situation", that is, accept challenges, seize opportunities. This article is written in the "13 th Five-Year" plan coming to an end, and "14 th Five-Year" plan will set sail, through reviewing China’s welding industry in the depth of new technology research and development, and its new era of spiritual style and industry responsibility, I would like to discuss with all colleagues in Chinese welding industry, inspiration and mutual encouragement each other, at the same time, as a congratulatory and commemorative to the "Electric Welding Machine" magazine by issued 50 volumes of 400 issues accompanied with China’s welding industry in the past a half century.

      摘要:The multi carbide composite cladding layers with different Co contents were prepared by fluxcored wire arc welding. The microstructure of the cladding layer was composed of M7(C, B)3, M3(C, B) carbide, martensite and a small amount of retained austenite(M = Cr, Fe, Mn, Co, etc.). With the increase of Co content, the amount and size of austenite dendrite was increased. After high temperature tempering(600 ℃× 4 h), the primary M7(C, B)3 carbides and eutectic M3(C, B) carbides didn’t change obviously, but the color austenite turned gray black, which indicated that austenite was oxidized. Moreover, the high temperature tempering stability of multi carbide composite cladding layer was increased gradually. In addition, when the Co content is 6%, the best high temperature wear resistance of the multi-component carbide composite cladding layer was closely related to the highest hardness and good high-temperature tempering stability of the multi-component composite cladding layer.

      摘要:Dissimilar metal welds(DMWs) formed by joining ferrite based heat-resistant steel and austenitic stainless steel(or nickel base alloy) with nickel base weld are widely used in nuclear power, thermal power, petrochemical and other industries. The early failure of DMWs often occurs under the condition of high temperature and low stress, which leads to the abnormal shutdown of the unit and brings huge economic losses and safety risks. Therefore, the early failure of DMWs has been focused by the engineering and academic circles. In this paper, the early failure of DMWs is reviewed and summarized. Firstly, the microstructure characteristics of DMWs are introduced, and the metallurgical characteristics of the region near the interface between ferrite based heat-resistant steel and weld are focused on, including martensite layer, carbon migration and type I/II carbides. Secondly, the characteristics of welding residual stress and its influencing factors are briefly summarized. Thirdly, the high temperature creep data of DMWs are summarized, aiming at the characteristics of creep fracture location transfer of DMWs, the fracture along the interface between ferrite based heat-resistant steel and weld is a significant feature of DMWs failure. This failure mode is related to strain concentration, thermal stress, matrix structure degradation, carbide coarsening and oxidation. Finally, some methods and suggestions for prolonging the service life of DMWs are given.

      摘要:Stationary shoulder friction stir welding(SSFSW) is an important derivative of friction stir welding(FSW) technology in the field of solid state bonding. It can significantly improve the problems of surface overheating, large temperature gradient and plate thickness thinning in the FSWed joints, which shows great application potential in welding of lightweight alloys, low thermal conductivity material, medium plate and fillet welding structure. In order to form a systematic understanding of the technology, this paper summarizes the main research progress of SSFSW, involving the basic principles, forming characteristics, microstructure and mechanical properties, and then make a prospect for the its development.

      摘要:This paper introduces the development and application status of pipeline steel pipe and field welding technology for long-distance oil and gas pipeline construction in China, points out the weldability characteristics of pipeline steel pipe, analyzes from five aspects: application direction of semiautomatic welding and manual welding, application and quality control of pipeline automatic welding, selection and technical progress of nondestructive testing methods, inspection and acceptance of welding defects and technical progress of construction organization. The technical differences between domestic and foreign countries are pointed out, and the development trend of pipeline field welding technology in China in the future is put forward. It is considered that semi-automatic welding with self shielded flux cored wire and manual welding with low hydrogen electrode will still be the alternative methods for pipeline construction, but the application of automatic welding technology will be more and more extensive; we will vigorously develop and comprehensively apply a variety of testing methods and digital nondestructive testing system for processing test results, and pay more and more attention to the application of welding defect assessment means which takes both safety and economy into account. Girth welding technology should be coordinated and managed as a technical system with iron and steel metallurgy, steel pipe manufacturing, welding material research and development and construction management.

      摘要:The microstructure and corrosion resistance of AA5052/304 SS rotary friction welded joints before and after heat treatment was studied. The results show that the distribution characteristics of intermetallic compounds along the radial direction in the as-welded joint were different, due to the inhomogeneity of heat generation and pressure at the interface. No intermetallic compound formed at the center but distributed continuously at 0.25 R, 0.5 R, and 0.75 R. Inhomogeneity of corrosion resistance in different areas of the joint was observed, and the corrosion resistance was ranked as: 0.75 R>0.5 R>Center>0.25 R. After heat treatment at 250 ℃/20 min, the residual stress in the joint was released, the microstructure was homogenized, and the radial inhomogeneity of the corrosion resistance disappeared.

      摘要:Moderate thick plate is widely used in shipbuilding, steel structure construction, machinery manufacturing, pressure vessel manufacturing, and other engineering fields, and its welding is also one of an important link in industry production. The conventional welding technology of moderate thick plate with unstable quality and low degree of automation is complicated, and the welding efficiency is greatly restricted. Therefore, the development of high-efficiency welding technology for the moderate thick plate can improve the overall production efficiency of the industry, and is of great significance. In this paper, the principle, characteristics and development status of the typical high-efficiency welding methods in the fields of backing welding, filling welding, capping welding and deep penetration welding are summarized, and the existing problems in the engineering application of the high-efficiency welding technology are analyzed, and the development direction of high-efficiency welding technology for the moderate thick plate is pointed out.

      摘要:Based on the characteristics of molten pool flow behavior of laser penetration welding, the laser penetration welding technology of layered bimetallic composites is proposed, which can realize the onetime welding forming of layered bimetallic composites, reduce the dilution of base metal to clad metal and damage its functional properties, which has great potential in improving the welding quality of layered bimetallic composites and promoting its application power. In this paper, the research results related to the welding of layered bimetallic composites are reviewed. The principle and characteristics of laser penetration welding technology and the influence of process conditions on the microstructure and properties of welded joints are expounded. The future development direction of laser penetration welding is prospected.

      摘要:Full penetration of mid-thickness metal with one pass welding can be obtained by K-TIG welding process. Single-sided welding and double-sided forming also can be performed, with high welding efficiency and good bead forming quality. Q345 R steel is often used as pressure vessel metal, and has to be welded through multi-layer and multi-pass welding by a traditional welding process, which is low efficiency and high cost. In order to expand the application range of K-TIG welding, external longitudinal magnetic field is combined to K-TIG welding and the microstructure and mechanical properties of Q345 R steel welded joints were studied. By changing the parameters of electromagnetic field, the influence of magnetic field on weld formation, joint microstructure and mechanical properties were studied. This study can lay a theoretical foundation for the optimization of K-TIG welding process.

      摘要:The research progress and market status of welding consumables for marine engineering at home and abroad were reviewed. The microstructure characteristics in weld metal and heat affected zone(HAZ) are described, and the toughening mechanism of weld metal is discussed from four aspects of cleanliness, alloying, refining and homogenizing. The development of special low phase transformation spot welding materials and the development of post welding treatment methods are also introduced. Finally, the development trend of welding materials for marine engineering is pointed out.

All kinds of advanced and special materials continue to emerge in recent years. Advanced materials have greatly promoted the progress of science and technology and social development, and have been applied in electronics, energy, vehicle manufacturing, aerospace and nuclear industry. The welding of advanced materials involves a wide range of areas because they have some characteristics of high performance, high hardness and welding difficulty. Present situation and research progress of special welding of advanced materials is clarified with the example of advanced ceramics, intermetallics and C composites, which has a certain significance for promoting the research and development of advanced materials welding.

      摘要:There are three kind of welding method of underwater welding, they are underwater dry welding, underwater local dry welding and underwater wet welding, in which, the wet welding has been gained compressive attention for its easy and convenient operation. The properties of different wet welding are introduced at first. And then, the research development and achievements of wet welding are discussed from three aspects, which are welding rod study, arc stability study and welding shape modeling. At last, some suggestions are proposed that we should increase the study on the wet welding special sensors and arc discharging mechanism, and so as to promote high quality development of wet welding.

      摘要:The joining of similiar materials can give full play to their respective properties. However, the physical and chemical properties of dissimilar materials are quite different, which leads to the problems of chemical incompatibility, excessive generation of interfacial compounds, uneven heating at the interface and excessive joint stress. In this paper, the recent progress of dissimilar metals and the connection between metals and ceramics are introduced. It mainly includes different welding methods and effects of titanium steel, aluminum copper, magnesium aluminum and aluminum iron. The joining of oxide ceramics, carbide ceramics, nitride ceramics and multiphase ceramics with metals is introduced. It can provide reference for peer researchers and provide research basis for the joining of new similiars material.

      摘要:There is an obvious gap between China and developed countries in the weldability research of steel and welding materials. In recent years, a lot of detailed research works have been done on weldability of several domestic high-end steels and welding materials for pressure vessels. That is, making steel from the point of view of welding, to make the steel from ‘weldable’ to ‘easry to welding’. Through reasonably selecting the welding slag system and optimizing the alloy system and formula, the welding materials have good performance. A good match between welding material and steel is realized, the welding joint has low crack sensitivity, low welding heat input sensitivity, good crack arrest performance and good low temperature impact toughness, which provides a strong guarantee for the welding quality of pressure vessels.

      摘要:The key load-carrying components of modern high-speed railway vehicles are mostly large-scale welded metallic structures, in which inevitably exist various defects and damages during the manufacturing, operation and maintenance. It is usually argued that, after the safety assessment, those unacceptable quality defects and surface damage are called defects. These defects can considerably decrease the bearing capacity and service life of the structures, it is therefore necessary to repair the bearing parts in the case of defects. This paper summarizes the typical defects existing in the key load-carrying components of railway vehicles and corresponding repair technologies, and then we point out that the structural integrity assessment is the potential research topic and developing direction.

      摘要:The progress of study on cavitation erosion behavior of duplex stainless steel surfacing layers and the influence factors was comprehensively reviewed with emphasis on experimental methods and the cavitation erosion behavior of duplex stainless steel surfacing layers. The effects of mechanical properties, chemical composition, microstructure, and surface morphology of duplex stainless steel surfacing layers as well as the parameters of serving environment on the cavitation erosion behavior of duplex stainless steel surfacing layers were introduced. The analysis shows that by regulating the alloy composition and improving the microstructures, modified duplex stainless steel surfacing layers with excellent cavitation erosion resistance are expected to be prepared, which will provide materials and engineering schemes for the development of marine industry in China.

      摘要:Welding technology is a traditional subject, but with the rapid and comprehensive development of science and technology, welding technology will be given new connotation and extensive extension. Combining with the development history and research status of welding technology, this paper combs the basic problems and realization goals of welding science, welding technology and welding engineering, as well as the close relationship between the development of the three; discusses the thinking of scientific discovery of welding, innovative ideas of welding technology, and the creation method of welding process. Combined with the factors of welding material, process and structure, the innovative ideas and methods of "from 1 + 1 to calculus" are put forward. From the content, interest, motive force and purpose of welding innovation, this paper describes the supporting role of mathematics, physics and chemistry theory on welding science and engineering innovation and creation, and describes the thinking and ways of welding innovation creation from the concept of multi-dimensional and multi-scale material connection space, and further shows that welding discipline is an interdisciplinary, open sharing and innovative discipline system.

      摘要:With excellent shape memory effect(SME) and super-elastic(SE), nitinol shape memory alloy(NiTi SMA) was widely used in the fields of aerospace, artificial intelligence and biomedicine, etc. To control costs, and obtain multi-functional components or exploit novel products, as an essential method, dissimilar welding of NiTi SMA/Ti6Al4V alloys was concerned. The key problems in welding of NiTi SMA/Ti6Al4V were reviewed. The research progress in fusion welding, diffusion welding and brazing methods was summarized, and the effects of different welding methods on welding results were compared. Diminishing the brittle intermetallic compounds in NiTi SMA/Ti6Al4V interface was the key factor to affect the mechanical properties of joints. One useful way to inhibit intermetallic compounds in interface of NiTi SMA/Ti6Al4V joints was addition middle layer as a barrier.

      摘要:Inverter welding machine overcomes the defects of low power density, poor control performance and low energy efficiency of traditional welding machine, which is an important milestone in the development of electric welding machine. In recent years, inverter welding machine has achieved great breakthrough in power platform, control system and process realization, and has become the mainstream product. This paper first briefly describes the basic situation of two critical technologies of inverter welding machine: the main circuit power conversion technology and power control technology; then discusses the development of inverter welding machine in the aspects of ultra-high inverter frequency, full digital control system and green welding process. Simple, sensitive, accurate, intelligent, green and efficient will become the future mainstream development direction of inverter welding machine.

      摘要:Nuclear grade main equipment has been subjected to high temperature, high pressure and neutron irradiation for a long time in service, and its quality and safety requirements are very high. Welding, as a basic means in the manufacturing and installation process of main equipment, has a great impact on the quality and safety of the main equipment. This paper briefly discusses the types, methods, welding materials and existing problems of main nuclear power equipment in China. This paper analyzes the causes of several difficulties in welding, such as nickel base alloy welding, localization of nuclear grade welding materials and surfacing welding of cobalt base alloy, and puts forward solutions. The development direction of welding technology for nuclear grade main equipment is briefly summarized and prospected. It is proposed that numerical simulation, digital welding construction, additive manufacturing technology, application of advanced welding methods and intelligent welding should be the main development directions in the future.

      摘要:Electromagnetic manufacturing is an advanced manufacturing technology involving electromagnetics, dynamics, materials science, thermodynamics and surface physical chemistry. It has broad application prospects in the connection of similar and dissimilar metal materials in many fields such as aerospace, rail transit, energy and chemical industry, automobiles and ships, and power electronics. This paper briefly introduces the basic principles and advantages of electromagnetic manufacturing technology, and focusing on the research progress and application status of advanced electromagnetic manufacturing technologies such as electromagnetic shaping, electromagnetic reduction, electromagnetic riveting, and electromagnetic welding in the field of aerospace and aviation.       摘要:According to the objective law and process of the development of steel structure welding technology, combined with the current situation of steel structure welding engineering, from three aspects of base metal, welding material and equipment-"large scale use of high-strength steel in steel structure promotes the rapid development of China’s welding technology", "high-quality and highperformance welding material is the greatest support to ensure the progress of welding technology", and "the new welding machine is the progress of welding technology". This paper analyzes and demonstrates the factors influencing the progress of welding technology, such as weather resistance and corrosion resistance, heat-resistant steel, low strength ratio of welding, scientific research and production of welding materials and rapid pulse compression arc, especially the robot automatic welding technology and related engineering cases, trying to reveal the development direction of welding technology.

      摘要:The quality of welded structural parts is largely determined by the welding process, which is an important prerequisite to ensure the welding quality. To design a suitable welding procedure instruction, it’s necessary for welding engineers to have solid professional knowledge and rich experience. Consulting a large number of welding standards and welding process documents is also unavoidably which implies heavy workload and complicated operations. With the development of various artificial intelligence technologies, intelligent process planning technology has been introduced the field of welding, and experts have been replaced to carry out welding process design work gradually. This paper introduces the development status of intelligent design of welding process at home and abroad and the common intelligent design technical means. The domestic development path of intelligent welding process design is mainly introduced. After decades of development, our welding process intelligent design system has independent intellectual property rights. Finally, the development trend is prospected as well.

      摘要:The basic principle and characteristics of high energy beam welding and its composite welding are discussed and analyzed. This paper introduces the high energy beam welding process characteristics and the latest research progress of VPPA welding, laser welding, laser plasma arc composite welding, VPPA-MIG composite welding and laser MIG composite welding of aluminum alloy. The heat source characteristics and process advantages of vppa-mig hybrid welding and laser MIG hybrid welding of aluminum alloy are mainly introduced. VPPA-MIG composite welding has prominent advantages in thick plate aluminum alloy welding due to its strong arc penetration and high welding efficiency, especially can effectively reduce the strength decline of high-strength aluminum alloy welding joint, so it has a great application prospect.

      摘要:With the progress of computer technology and the development of finite element algorithm, the modeling and numerical simulation in welding engineering has been widely used, and many problems such as welding temperature field, stress field, deformation, microstructure, life prediction and structural integrity have been solved. However, the uncertainty of modeling and simulation has been throughout the whole technology It mainly includes the uncertainty of parameters, the accuracy of model, the uncertainty of data, the incompatibility of grid, the independence of step size and the contradiction between convergence and accuracy. It is necessary to carry out research on the verification and validation of modeling and simulation, and further promote the reliability of modeling and simulation by combining with new technologies such as standardization, artificial intelligence and digital twins.

      摘要:The process of ZL114 A alloy fabricated by wire arc additive manufacture(WAAM) was studied. The microstructure and mechanical properties of as-deposited specimens fabricated by WAAM and heattreated specimens were analyzed. The results show that the microstructure of as-deposited is composed of dendritic α-Al matrix and granular eutectic Si-phase, and the coarse crystal regions occurred in the twoneighboured welding beads in the WAAMed component. Compared with the traditional metal casting method, the microstructure of as-deposited specimens shows smaller grains and the distribution of the fine eutectic Si-phase becomes uniform. After T6 heat treatment, the dendrite in the WAAMed specimens disappears and the eutectic Si-phases are spheroidized and they show a finely-dispersed distribution. These microstructure characteristic contributes to the significant improvement of the mechanical properties. The tensile strength, yield strength and elongation of the WAAMed component are 370.0 MPa/310.4 MPa and 8.6%, respectively, and the surface of the tensile specimens fracture is characterized by ductile fracture.

      摘要:Based on laser coaxial powder feeding deposition technology, the forming control of 316 L stainless steel additive manufacturing components was studied. The influence of printing plane position on joint size and layer height on joint size is analyzed, and regression relationship model between joint size and process parameters is established. The results show that when the printing plane is on the plane where the laser focus is, the fluctuation of the printing plane with the actual layer height will occur an automatic feedback adjustment process; the actual layer height will be automatically adjusted with the set layer height until the actual layer height and the set layer height are basically consistent, and there is an optimal layer height setting value under different powder deposition rates; the return between joint size and process parameters is obtained. The single wall and solid additive components with good shape were prepared by optimizing the process.

      摘要:No-Nb wires of 550 MPa and 650 MPa grades were employed to carry out dual submerged arc welding test on economic Nb-bearing X70 steel. The mechanical properties of the welded joint met the technical requirements, and the HAZ had toughness with large margin and little fluctuation; the properties are uniform indicating a good mixture of the two wires in melting pool. The microstructure of GCHAZ is granular bainite with granular ferrite and plate ferrite. In spite of the Nb dilution from X70 parent metal to weld metal, the precipitates in welds of either as welded or reheated are still mainly oxides of Ti, Al, Mn and Si, but without Nb, sizing from 200 nm to 1.5 μm, and singly 80 nm by TEM observation, which is much different with that in X70 steel.

      摘要:In this study, the brazing experiments of 1Cr12Ni3MoVN stainless steel were carried out using BNi82CrSiB(i.e. BNi-2) filler metal. Microstructure and mechanical property of the brazed joints were analyzed. The results revealed that sound joints could be obtained by using BNi-2 filler metal brazed at brazing temperature of 1 070 ℃ for 15 min. The diffusion treatment at temperature of 940 ℃ for 1 h after brazing at 1 070 ℃ could decrease the width of seam and refine the microstructure. After diffusion treatment, the average tensile strength of the joint was obviously increased up to 382.0 MPa, but the tensile specimen still exhibited brittle fracture mode and the fracture occurred in the brazing seam.

      摘要:The characteristics of droplet transfer modes in submerged arc welding involving metallurgical reaction were reviewed. The results show that a series of metallurgical reactions take place in the cavity of submerged arc welding, in which the reduction of Si and Mn and the oxygen-increasing reaction have a certain effect on the dominant force of the droplet transfer. The flux wall guided transfer mode is the dominant one of submerged arc welding droplets(including coarse droplet and "whipping tail" flux wall guided transfer mode).The relationship between the metallurgical reaction of submerged arc welding and the mode of droplet transfer depends on the mechanical conditions of droplet transfer. The additions that can improve the transfer mode are SiO2 and TiO2, and the addition that worsen the transfer of the droplet is CaF2. Among the influence of welding process parameters, the influence of welding current is very strong. Most of the influence of arc voltage may be the indirect influence of welding current. The polarity of the power supply and the basicity of the flux may increase the oxygen content of the droplet and refine the droplet, but it will not change the flux wall guided transfer mode of the droplet.

      摘要:Joining of DD5 single crystal superalloy is extremely important for the manufacturing of the blades and vanes in aero-engines. In this paper, the DD5 single crystal superalloy was brazed with NiNbCoWCrAlSiMo(ВПр24) filler metal. Sound joints were obtained. The joint microstructure was complicated. The interface reaction products could be characterized as carbides, borides and silicides compounds distributed on the γ+γ’ dual-phase matrix. Meanwhile, it was fount that the joint gap had an effect on the joint stress-rupture strength. With the joint gap of 0.1 mm, the joint stress-rupture strength under the condition of 980?/100 h reached 80 MPa.
