This paper introduces the high energy beam welding process characteristics and the latest research progress of VPPA welding, laser welding, laser plasma arc composite welding, VPPA-MIG composite welding and laser MIG composite welding of aluminum alloy. The heat source characteristics and process advantages of vppa-mig hybrid welding and laser MIG hybrid welding of aluminum alloy are mainly introduced.
