Research status of high energy beam welding and composite welding of aluminum alloy
The basic principle and characteristics of high energy beam welding and its composite welding are discussed and analyzed. This paper introduces the high energy beam welding process characteristics and the latest research progress of VPPA welding, laser welding, laser plasma arc composite welding, VPPA-MIG composite welding and laser MIG composite welding of aluminum alloy. The heat source characteristics and process advantages of vppa-mig hybrid welding and laser MIG hybrid welding of aluminum alloy are mainly introduced. VPPA-MIG composite welding has prominent advantages in thick plate aluminum alloy welding due to its strong arc penetration and high welding efficiency, especially can effectively reduce the strength decline of high-strength aluminum alloy welding joint, so it has a great application prospect.
