It has broad application prospects in the connection of similar and dissimilar metal materials in many fields such as aerospace, rail transit, energy and chemical industry, automobiles and ships, and power electronics. This paper briefly introduces the basic principles and advantages of electromagnetic manufacturing technology, and focusing on the research progress and application status of advanced electromagnetic manufacturing technologies such as electromagnetic shaping, electromagnetic reduction, electromagnetic riveting, and electromagnetic welding in the field of aerospace and aviation.
