The application progress of metallurgical characterization techniques in Al/Cu dissimilar laser weld for power battery modules in new energy vehicle industries at home and abroad were reviewed,from the aspects of conventional destructive test,such as stereological observation,metallogra-phic examination,hardness testing and tensile testing. In the manufa-cturing industry of power battery for new energy vehicles,these inspection indexes still need to form a unified international,national or industry standard.
