By the experimental study on electron beam welding(EBW) process of Niobium alloy Nb521,the welding parameters are optimized,and the appearance of weld surface and the microstructure of welded joint are analyzed. The results show that Nb521 alloy is well compatible with EBW. The tensile strength and yield strength of the weld can reach more than 95% of the base metal at normal temperature,and the elongation percentage of the weld reaches 86.7% of the base metal.The weld performance is good below 1 600 ℃.
