In this paper,aluminum alloy(A6061) and carbon fiber reinforced thermal plastic(CFRTP) were joined by laser direct joining technology. Taking the tensile strength of joint as the evaluation index,the influence law of joining parameters and the optimal joining process were determined.The aging treatment method was adopted to improve the joint strength,the influence of aging treatment parameters on the tensile strength was studied,and the joining mechanism of the joint under the optimal process parameters was revealed. The results showed that oxygen element was found in the joining interface and there was element diffusion. The strength of the joint between CFRTP and A6061 could be significantly improved by aging treatment,which was about two times as much as that without aging treatment. The interface was closely joined after aging treatment.
