This article introduces a kind of welding robot system used for fillet weld of loader tank, which has arc tracking function. Analyze the key factors that affect the arc tracking effect of melting gas arc welding. Under the condition of reasonable selection of welding parameters,fillet weld parameters and workpiece dimension parameters,the welding robot can realize stable arc tracking welding,high quality tank fillet welds were obtained.
