LabVIEW has the characteristics of graphical programming language,short development cycle and low diffi-culty. Under the development environment of LabVIEW and combining with the data acquisition card of NI company,the double pulse MIG welding system is built,which can collect the current,voltage and control output and display the double-pulse waveform in real time. Several sets of double pulse experiments were designed to verify the feasibility of double pulse MIG welding system. The results show that the double pulse MIG welding system based on LabVIEW can meet the welding requirements,and the welding process is well,and a good fiscal-scale weld can be formed.
