With the development of modern agricultural machinery in the direction of large-scale and compound, higher requirements have been put forward for the comprehensive properties of the soil-engaging components. The optimization design and surface modification of the soil-engaging components have become a hotspot for scholars at home and abroad. This thesis mainly reviews the research reports about wear-resistant coatings of agricultural machinery in the past 20 years, summarizes the research status of bionic coatings, and puts forward the shortcomings of current research and future development direction of wear-resistant coatings, which can provide the theoretical guide and reference for the research of surface modification about agricultural machinery components.
