The main engineering applications and market prospects of high-frequency welded pipes was briefly introduced.Sulfuric acid dew point corrosion test and blasting test were conducted on ND steel high-frequency welded pipes under three different states(as-welded,normalized and tempered),and was compared with the seamless tube. The results show that the sulfuric acid dew point corrosion resistance of ND steel high-fr equency welded pipe in the as-welded,normalized and tempered state is equivalent to that of the parent metal. The pressure bearing capacity in as-welded state and heat-treated tempering state is equivalent to that of the seamless pipe. The pressure bearing capacity in normalized state is weak and the economy is also poor. Considering the sulfuric acid corrosion resistance and pressure bearing capacity,ND steel high-frequency welded pipe and seamless pipe performance is equivalent in as-welded state and tempered state,so seamless pipe can be replaced by ND steel high-frequency welded pipe.
