Aiming at the problems of high consumption of traditional welding training material and energy,polluting the environment and being harmful to health,a set of simulation welding training system is designed based on virtual reality to realize the simulation operation of arc welding. The training system hardware includes welding platform,control host,simulation welding gun,video glasses and so on. The main purpose of the software is to enable trainees to complete the actual welding training courses in "virtual reality".The system provides a variety of different workpiece form selections,so that the trainees can practice different weld forms and welding positions. This system has simple operation and a full range of vision,provides a useful learning method for schools and training institutions and is a supplement to traditional welding teaching activities.
