For nuclear equipment,there are rigorous regulatory requirements to equipment welding in nuclear codes and standards,whereas,the requirement to post welding heat treatment of base metal and welding joints-an important part of equipment manufa-cturing cannot have the same rigidity as compared to welding. In this thesis,contents such as treatment requirement,operator,device and file documentation in post welding heat treatment regulations of AP1000,ACP1000 and China manufactured RPV will be compared,analyzed and proposal will be given intending to optimize the regulation related to post welding heat treatment. In addition to that,the author will summarize some focal points of qualification control in nuclear equipment post welding heat treatment based on his years of experience as nuclear equipment welding designer.
