According to the characteristics of multifunctional flame cutting equipment, considering the pipe and plate cutting features in the process,based on the analysis of structure of the linear and profiling flame cutting device,the design and production of multifunctional flame cutting equipment were finished. The power output was changed by adjusting the motor through the worm,gear and clutch group,by adjusting the movement of double gear in the main drive shaft and the transmission shaft respectively mesh with the driven gear,the conversion function from cutting tube to cutting plate is completed,different groove processing on the same equipment is realized. The equipment has been successfully applied in actual production and teaching.
