The effect of surfacing paramet ers on welding stress for a voltage stabilizer safe-end pipe is studied by means of finite element numerical simulation, and the design of virtual welding technology is carried out. By ANSYS software, a numerical model of surfacing repair for a NPP voltage stabilizer safe-end pipe is established, and the influences of different welding currents and welding speeds on the welding stress are compared and analyzed. The results show that within the scope of virtual welding analysis study, the larger the welding current, the greater the compressive stress in the original pipe; and the faster the welding speed, the less the compressive stress in the original pipe.
