In a rough rolling mill,when the 650 roller contacts with the surface of the rolled material at a high temperature,the roller surface may crack and roller pass may wear due to the combined action of working pressure,impact,wear and thermal cycle. Thus,the roller should be replaced timely. The repair technologies of submerged-arc welding and surfacing are widely used to repair the replaced roller.The repaired roller must satisfy the use requirements,namely the roller surface must have high hardness and high temperature wear resistance,so it is very important to select welding materials and develop a reasonable welding technology.
