The aluminum anodic oxide film is cleaned by using a nanosecond pulse laser. Both SEM and EDS are used for element component analysis. The results show that the newly born metal surface is composed of 99 wt.% Al element. The aluminum anodic oxide film is completely peeled under laser heating crack mechanism. The weld quality of propellant tank using laser cleaning technology reaches the highest level.
