With the development of China’s manufacturing industry,the requirements and demands for welding technical personnel and high-end welding talents are increasing. In order to train students to adapt to the development of society,the welding technology and engineering department of Lanzhou university of technology has promoted the innovation and practice of welding courses. The results show that the abilities of welding undergraduates have been further improved,the employment rate has been greatly increased,and has been widely praised by enterprises. The innovation and practicality of professional courses lay a foundation for the realization of a new engineering, and make a certain contribution to the development of welding industry.
