In this paper,the effect of the cooling time t,12/8, on microstructural transformation of the SAF2507 heat affected zone(HAZ),which was simulated by GLEEBLE3800 thermal simulation machine was studied. The results indicated that secondary austenite and Widmanstatten austenite made the precipitation increased in the ferrite grain and grain boundary with the increase of cooling time t,12/8,Meanwhile,the banded austenite gradually grew up and transformed into dendritic or plume,eventually form a net structure with the increase of cooling time of t,12/8,. When the cooling time of t,12/8, added to 69 seconds,the intermetallic phase which was χ phase precipitated at the boundary between α/γ and α/α.
