With the high measurement accuracy,wide range and direct output in the form of voltage（or current）,ZrO,2, ceramic oxygen sensor has an important application prospect in the new type nuclear reactors. However,due to the characteristics of ZrO,2, ceramic material and special application environment,it is necessary to carry out a reliable joining of ZrO,2, ceramic with itself or metals to realize the complementary advantages. The joining characteristics and present joining methods of ZrO,2, ceramics in the field of nuclear power are summarized. The characteristics of each joining method are discussed,and the development direction of ZrO,2, ceramic joining technology is pointed out.
