Friction stir welding is used for butt lap welding of 6005A-T6 aluminum alloy. Through a series of metallographic analysis, hardness, tensile, bending, and fatigue tests, the mechanical properties and fatigue properties of 6005A-T6 aluminum alloy welded joints are studied. Through the metallographic analysis of the welded joints, it can be seen that the structure of the weld nugget zone is fine equiaxed dendrites; the grains in the heat-mechanical affected zone are relatively coarse and have a certain directionality and accompanied by great deformation; the structure of the heat-affected zone Compared with the base material, the grains have obvious growth but no deformation, the tensile and bending tests show that the tensile and bending resistance of the welded joint is good. The fatigue test shows that the welded joint has a certain strength, which has certain data reference value for actual production.
