As a key force part in a civil new typed aircraft engine, the inlet case consists of welding assemblies of outlet case, inlet one and supporting panel. Distortion during the welding manufacturing and welding recovery problem has become the critical difficulty which limits the normal use of parts. In the essay, some methods, such as welding parameters optimization, welding process control refinement, improving welding fixtures, heat-treatment shaping, local recovery and heat-treatment technology, are promoted to settle the difficulty of part development, and largely reduced the parts during welding distorting, realizing welding distortion control of inlet case assembly. This paper has important role on complicated welding inlet case processing ability improvement for equivalent structure parts welding and distortion control, and raised typical processing technology to research and promote for the complicated welding inlet case on the aircraft engine.
