In this paper,the effects of grain size,element content and internal stress on the magnetic properties of permalloy were discussed based on magnetization mechanism. The research status of permalloy additive manufacturing technology was analyzed. Both advantages and disadvantages of permalloy additive manufacturing technology were discussed. The magnetic properties and improvement measures of the additive manufactured permalloy were studied.
