The results show that Nb521 alloy is well compatible with EBW. The tensile strength and yield strength of the weld can reach more than 95% of the base metal at normal temperature,and the elongation percentage of the weld reaches 86.7% of the base metal.The weld performance is good below 1 600 ℃.
