Analysis and development of aluminum alloy resistance spot welding technology for car body
This article introduces the speciality of aluminum alloy spot welding technology,the structure and characteristics of equipment,and the requirements of aluminum alloy spot welding technology on media,materials,production fixtures and the related auxiliary equipment. The relevant factors influencing the weldability of aluminum spot welding were analyzed. The key influencing factors of aluminum spot welding quality were obtained,through the analysis and testing of equipment welding polarity, power frequency,end face shape and material of electrode cap, welding control mode and welding parameters,etc..It can provide the innovative directions and methods for improving the spot welding quality of aluminum alloys,prolonging the electrode caps life. It provides the experience for the development of technology in the automotive industry.
