Liuhua16-2 FPSO is one of the most challenging projects in Offshore Oil Engineering Co.,Ltd.,the most important part of FPSO is single-point mooring system. It is significant to guarantee the fabricated accuracy of both the single-point mooring system and the moon pool so as to they can match each other with high precision in integration phase.This paper expounds the dimensional control method of moon pool and single-point mooring system by using the point cloud data acquired with 3D laser scanner which is creative application in this field.
