Design and implementation of dual-power Plasma-MIG welding system
Dual-power Plasma-MIG hybrid arc welding system was established based on PLC according to the process principles. The mode conversion method was proposed for the arc ignition under small parameters in the process of aluminum alloy welding. Plasma current Ip in welding circuit was detected as the stability criterion. The control system was integrated by programming HMI under MFC platform.Experimental results show that the dual-power Plasma-MIG control system can realize coordination control of two power source powers according to the Plasma-MIG welding sequence and achieve high quality welding for aluminum alloy.
