The microstructure and hardness of laser welding joint of CP-Ti are investigated with some technologies,and the corrosion resistance of joint in acid,neutral and alkaline solutions are also studied. The results show that the microstructure of joint consists of αphase,and the α grains in welds have three kinds of appearance,which are acicular,serrated and lath shaped and α grains in heat affected zone(HAZ)are serrated. The hardness test shows that the weld is the area with the maximum joint microhardness of 210 HV,and the microhardness of HAZ is about 165 HV,which is lower than that of weld. The corrosion resistance of joints in acid solution is the worst, the current density and corrosion rate in acid solution are higher than those in neutral and alkaline solutions.
