Lamellar tearing is a common problem of thick plate welding structure of production,the mainly reason is the poor performance of rolling thick plate thickness direction,and the welding residual stress for vertical plate surface in similar T type welding joint. In combination with EN1993-1-10,starting from the design and selection of welded structures,the factors of material properties,joint forms and welding process measures are considered comprehensively,and choose suitable steel plate with thicknesscharacteristic to solve the problem.
