This article mainly introduces the application and controlling of Clinchen technology in auto production,and the process of principle for Clinch,analyzes the reasons why it has been gradually applied to the automotive industry.Explains the structural features of riveting equipment used in body manufacturing,a description is given of the standard of test,the quality inspection method,destructive and non-destructive inspection process,inspection items,evaluation criteria and the causes of the defects.Examples of common defects are explained through examples.Finally,the future development of Clinch technology in automobile industry is prospected.
