In this paper,the mechanical properties of SUS301 L series high strength austenitic stainless steel materials used for rail vehicles are analyzed. The welding performance of thin plate stainless steel used for vehicle is analyzed,especially the analysis of the welding performance under the special requirements of the surface coated rail car for the welding surface molding. It is suitable for the technology of resistance spot welding. The characteristics of the welding technology of the key parts of the stainless steel rail vehicle and the special external quality requirements of the non coated vehicles are analyzed. Analysis of vehicle welding using resistance spot welding equipment in spot welding equipment welding, welding equipment,welding equipment,appearance structure,ability of equipment basic operation,equipment and other aspects of the characteristics and requirements of the application requirements,summarizes and analyzes the resistance spot welding equipment used in stainless steel welding technology on vehicle.
