    Abstract

Three kinds of currents are used for welding dissimilar steels with 11% chrome content. And the effect of these welding currents on the microstructures and mechanical properties of welded joints is studied. The tensile, impact and bending properties of the joints are tested. The results show that the microstructures of the joints with three welding technologies are all tempering martensite, and the martensite is much coarser in the 270 A. EDS analysis shows that the secondary phase of welds and heat affected zone is mainly phase M23C6. The joints obtained with 240 A have excellent comprehensive mechanical properties.
