    Abstract

The new low energy welding technology is a new welding method and completes metal transfer by push-pull wire feed, there is no spatter during the welding process, and the heat input is reduced effectively. The current output and the wire movement match each other to achieve a stable welding. Through the welding procedure test, the influence of control parameters(such as arc peak current I1,hold time T1,wire feed rate v1,the delay time of wire feed T4,wire withdrawal rate v2 and the delay time of wire withdrawal T5,etc.)on the deposition rate of wire is studied. The results show that as the I1,T1,v1,v2 and T5increase the deposition rate of wire improves, and the effect of I1 and T1on the deposition rate is outstanding, but the effect of v2 and T5 is not obvious, and with the increase of T4,the deposition rate decreases,so that the deposition rate of wire can be controlled effectively by adjusting the welding parameters appropriately.
