Structure and properties of Q450NQR1 weather resistant steel stud welding were studied by process test,appearance inspection,bending test,torsion test and metallographic structure analysis. The results show that the welded joints with good appearance,high regularity and good mechanical properties can be obtained by short-period arc stud welding with pre-coated primer and nonprimer Q450NQR1 weathering steel. All the indexes can meet the requirements of relevant standards. The welds and heat-affected zones are pre-eutectoid ferrite,acicular ferrite and a small amount of pearlite.
