As a cooperation project between the governments of China and Germany

the fruitful achievements in the field of welding technology training between 1984 and 1999 laid a solid foundation for further cooperation in the future. In 1999

the International Accreditation (China) Welding Training and Qualification Certification Committee (CANB) applied to the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and successfully obtained personnel qualification certification authorization

becoming the first institution outside Europe to receive comprehensive authorization. At present

the total number of international welding and inspection personnel trained by WTI and certified by CANB has reached the second place in the world

among which the number of international welding engineer (IWE) qualification personnel trained and certified has been ranked first in the world for many consecutive years. Since 1999

WTI and SLV have jointly carried out enterprise certifications such as DIN 18800

EN 729

and DIN 6700 in China. Based on this

in 2011

the International Accreditation (China) Welding Enterprise Certification Committee (CANBCC) applied to IIW and obtained ISO 3834 enterprise certification authorization

ranking second in the world for many years. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of China Germany cooperation

experts in the welding field from both sides have gathered in Beijing and Shanghai to summarize past successful experiences

explore new ways and means of cooperation

and will surely achieve even more brilliant achievements!
