The bimetal grid is a major component of nuclear fuel assembly,which belongs to nuclear reactor core product. So the welding quality of Bimetal Grid is of great significance for the nuclear power safety. The electron beam welding process of the bimetal grid is gradually applied to parts manufacturing of PWR nuclear fuel. Because there are many factors affecting the process,so there are many quality assurance measures. Over the years,these scattered quality control methods have not been systematized. According to the stipulation of quality control elements in GB/T 12467-90 and RCC-C 2015,combining with the experience and methods in the supervision of company’s production and quality management summarized over the years,discussions are made on material control,technology management,production site management,welding defects control,product inspection,document control,etc. Finally,a standardized and systematic welding quality control method is developed. In this way,the final product quality and the user satisfaction can be improved.
