The tensile test were conducted at low-temperature and elevated temperature by using the chamber and temperature furnace to obtain the parameters of 6082-T6 aluminum alloy

such as the tensile strength

yield strength

elastic modulus

elongation and Poisson ratio

and then the tensile fracture was observed to analyze the fracture process. The test results show that the tensile strength

yield strength and elastic modulus of 6082-T6 aluminum alloy sheet decrease with the increase of temperature

while the elongation increases with increasing temperature. When the temperature is higher than 400 ℃

the material presented softening characteristic and the trend of elongation is significant.
